Top 5 iOS Social Networking Apps in Ukraine: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the top social networking applications on iOS in Ukraine demonstrated interesting trends across downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Threads showed a stable performance in weekly downloads, starting at around 34K and reaching a peak of nearly 39K by the end of March. The app's active users increased steadily from approximately 935K to 1.19M over the quarter.

WhatsApp Messenger saw a gradual decrease in downloads, starting at 23.5K and dropping to about 16K by the end of March. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 770K throughout the quarter.

Google Meet experienced a significant spike in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at over 52K in mid-February, before declining to around 8.8K by the end of March. Active users also saw a rise, reaching over 10K in late February, but tapered off to approximately 6.8K by quarter's end.

Telegram Messenger maintained a strong revenue stream, peaking at $231K in early January. Downloads, however, steadily declined from around 24K to 5.7K. Active users showed slight fluctuations, maintaining a robust base of over 3.5M throughout the quarter.

Facebook had a consistent weekly revenue of around $600, with minor variations. Downloads decreased from 15K to about 7.7K, while active users showed a slight downward trend, ending the quarter at approximately 2.19M.
